Walsall Youth Arts runs arts projects based around a variety of media & art forms; digital art, music, visual arts, and moving image.

Digital Art Walsall Youth Arts' computer studio is equipped with imac computers and a range of creative software packages to enable young people to produce multimedia and print-based work. We provide access to training and technology as part of projects, and for individuals continuing with their own work.

Music WYA allows young people to come in and use the sound studio for creating and editing their own musical compositions using a selection of recording and editing facilities in our studios. The two studios are MIDI based, using Cubase VST, Logic Audio & other audio editing software, allowing a very high level of sound production to be achieved.

Moving Image WYA is able to offer facilities for producing various moving image projects, including digital video cameras, a digital editing suite and software packages. Training is available for young people who are interested in making their own films and animation.

Visual Arts Through project funding, we are able to offer access to many visual art forms including silk screen printing, large scale mural work, acrylic painting, aerosol work, UV workshops, slides and visual projections.
